yea, I don't agree with sacrificing ANYTHING in this life in the hope that you will have a "better" life afterwards. Its wasteful in my opinion.

does that mean that you believe we have an after life?

No I just said I was an atheist, I do not believe there is an afterlife. I think we die, period. The reason I mentioned an afterlife is because I was reasoning from the point of view of people with religious beliefs.

sooooo what do you two say about resuscitating someone after they die? Wouldn't what happens afterwards be considered an afterlife because you've died, been resurrected, and hence you are now living a second life? or if you're lucky (or unlucky) to do so once again and live a third life?

There's just some things humans aren't meant to be treading their curious feet in.
But to me, death is death, the person is now lifeless, it's not really hard to imagine.
