    We will be evaluating applications based on your forum activity and the way you have conducted yourself along with any traits relating to leadership we can see in you.

    Please use the following format to apply for staff positions;
    NOTE:Global Moderator Apps are CLOSED

    What sections you want to moderate (N/A for Global Mods/State Heads):

    Note***
    State heads will no longer appear as Moderators.
    You will be granted permissions for your states topic but remain member status (or other if youve acheived a rank)

    Reasons for applying: Im currently Moderator on TheCwalk.com and have been Moderator/Admin of previous Australian Cwalk forums. I also administrate the Gold Coast United Supporters Club forums, so I have the experience and the mentality it takes to moderate a forum.


    Additional Comments: I like Australia <3

    I would have gone for state head, but I find myself more useful with a ban hammer.

    Position Applying for : Global mod > section mod > state head in that order.

    Reasons for applying : Cwalk forums in general have been experiencing a steady decline in activity since the start of 2008. Country forums as old as the FCWC or even newer ones like the VCWC are still going strong though, so I'd like to see this site develop and hopefully give all the Aussie cwalkers a place to start in terms of a country forum.... since I know Australia has a ton of walkers but only about 5% ever sign up for any international cwalk forums, and less than 1% probably stay active.

    I was a global mod, and then admin on the now defunct Dancelements (dance forums run by Shynobee, an ex PMW admin and vet). I was also on the TCW Media Team, and am currently a section mod on TCW and have been one for around nine months. Note that you can only apply for staff positions after you get SA.

    Additional comments : Uhh.... GO QLD WOOOOO




    EDIT: Bit of a paradox in the OP, no global mod applications anymore?

    Reason for applying: I have a lot of spare time on my hands, besides skyping with my gf, which i love, I don't have much to do and since I've signed up, it seems like I've been logging onto here for a lot and I'm usually the only one on, I want to change that and make this forum grow, I really want to bring Cwalk back and I want to contribute in some way, so I guess becoming a mod can help me do that! Smile

    Reasons for applying: In the past ive never really moderated or even held a high position on forums before, in fact auswalk is my second ever forum after pimpmywalk. However, I have held and are still holding leadership roles in real life at school and extra-curricular activities, and I believe as a moderator, having leadership qualities contributes significantly to his/her success at the job.

    Also, I have the same aspirations as many c-walkers who use this site, and that is to put Australia on the map in the c-walk world and expand c-walking in Australia. With this mentality, I believe being a moderator would definitely help everyone step closer to that common aspiration.

    For now staff applications will be closed, when forum activity increases there will be a need for more staff.
    I expect this will happen around june/july. Because i have a plan.
    Will update any existing applications when anything further happens.
