    Tutorial section

Post by LittleLew on Wed Jul 18, 2012 10:36 am

I don't know how complicated this would be in terms of actually making it part of the site, but I was thinking we should consider making a tutorial section in the style of pimpmywalk's, only more extensive, like people could add moves of their own and stuff. I think this would really help everyone improve, and newer cwalkers to check out this site. The one at pimpmywalk is good but there are a lot of other moves and variations they don't include, that we could. Just an idea Very Happy Ideally we'd make a pretty extensive one, and have a section where people added their own unique stuff, likes variations, transitions or combos, which could really draw attention to these forums and help everyone get better.

pmw is actually working on renewing the tutorials right now :L only problem with uploading tutorials of anything more than the basics is it makes everyone generic because really theyre just stealing moves and wont create their own, something we could do in the future, but for now i think theres easier ways for us ot increase activity

yeah..plus, adding our own unique stuff would kinda defeat the purpose of it being unique

Yea thats true Slazy + revilo, but for the basics at least that wouldn't hurt, plus with the unique moves I was more thinking about moves that you don't find tutorials for but that you see a lot, I've seen a fair amount of those

I'm thinking, aside from combos that people would be happy to share, things like the wiggle shuffle, I didn't find many tutorials on that one on youtube. Then there are things that I do not know the name of but I see often, like that one where it is almost a triangular gangsta hop from side to side

I've seen some people call them differently and stuff, but just throwing those out. Is the second one really a crown hop? I think I've got the names mixed up I thought crown hop was the same thing as gangsta hop

For the first one I've actually seen a tutorial two on youtube calling it the wiggle shuffle, thats why I referred to it like that - I originally saw Bapp0 doing it and I searched a lot for it

i guess you could call it that. most people use that wiggle walk to transition out from shuffle stepbacks to v, so i guess that makes sort of sense
