contributing food to help the Ethiopian famine would add to overpopulation, which is considered the root of Ethiopia's problems

Basically what this is saying is that to help Ethiopia in the long run we need to cut food aid supplies. Do you agree with cutting food aid or feel as though Ethiopia needs first world help

I'd have to look alot further into the issue.
If it was the case as above and overpopulation was the root of the famine, then possibly, yes. Although it does still seem completely immoral.
As it stands I think the aid should continue until it can be proven to be caused by overpopulation, and even then it's a touchy subject.

How do you think you would solve overpopulation anyway?
Starving or killing? It would feel super immoral to do so.
However if it is true that providing food and aid has caused overpopulation, to solve the problem would be a very inhumane to do.
It's in most people's human nature to help; to cut food and aid would be highly inhumane.
Ill add more later; i seem repetitive with what im saying.

Food aid can have positive and negative effects, however I do feel not giving any help at all is immoral

Giving them food does nothing. Thats like feeding a hospital patient without actually curing their ailment.
The main focus should be on improving infrastructure and agricultural aspects of the country.
With what they're saying about overpopulation, building infrastructure would help provide for this, as well as contributing to the overall development of the country.

I agree with Revilo, and that is what is generally attempted, to get the country to be self-sustainable. In the long run that is really the only way to fix such problems.
