Whyyyyy do you guys keep cwalking for so loooonggg??? Seriously when its over a minute of cwalking, unless ur freaking pro and can do endless combos and varies without repeating, it geets reaaally borring.

A tip for all you beginners: Don't have a video over a minute, otherwise it just gets boring, repetitive, and becomes a pain to watch and give you CnC. Having it less than a minute helps you stop being so reppy and bring out some combos that you may have created. It also means people will most likely watch the entire thing without getting bored.

had to get that off my chest. all good now Very Happy

yea, this is so goddamn annoying.
im currently battling this dude on pmw after agreeing on the fact it was a snippet battle. however, he decides to post up a freaking 1minute30 second video, which in turn made everyone think it was an unfair battle. WTF!

but most of the time people walk to the minimum time limit for that vids purpose e.g. 40 secs for crew tryouts, 50 secs for sc etc etc.

yehh i dont mind vids thar have requirements to them, but normal vids that are for show/CnC that go on for more than a minute are pretty ridiculous. Hard to watch the entire thing if its not good....

I often have longer videos because when I'm actually doing them I am really enjoying it so I don't want to stop xD. Also sometimes I do things that I think were good towards the end of those longer ones, so I don't want to just cut it off when I am editing. I think that is why newer cwalkers make excessively long videos, because they don't have the consistency / flow to just do a good cwalk that quickly, and they do not want to leave out parts of the video that they are most proud of.

yeah true, but taking from your last video, that was a bunch of clips put together, which i don't really mind. but still, its ridiculous how people cwalk for over a minute continuously and its just sooo boorrring.... you can just cut out your best parts and montage them. nothin wrong with that at all.

I try not to make long videos but because my laptop has been out of action for almost a month, I have no new videos. ><
I will hope to put up ones soon I think i'll make my max time 0:50 - 1:10

that's true. although, most songs have the same beat throughout the song, so if you're able to cut it up into sections where the beat matches with what you're doing, shouldn't matter too much. unless there's a lyric ride you're just dying to show off Very Happy

Yea I agree, and lyric ride usually comes with more developed cwalkers so at that point they are making shorter videos / more entertaining videos.
